The questions prompted the men to divulge the number of times they attacked a person with a weapon, how often they got into fights, as well as how often they drank or used drugs. The researchers asked 600 American men ranging in age from 18 to 50 various questions about personal self-image, drug use and violent behavior. Men who struggle with their masculinity and height are three times as likely to commit violent assaults with a weapon, according to research published in the journal Injury Prevention by experts from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
